Actress Nayanatara Becomes A Hindu at Arya Samaj Temple

heroine Nayanathara has sprung yet another surprise! Boasting of an original Christian name Diana Mariam Kurian, Nayanathara has converted into Hindu on (August 7) morning at Arya Samaj Temple in Chennai. The actress came down from Kochi and entered Arya Samaj Temple at Waltax Road in Chennai and has undergone Shuddhi Karma – a Hindu ritual for Vedic purification and chanted Veda and Gayathri mantra. Later, a Certificate of Conversion to Hinduism was issued to Nayanatara who returned back to Kochi yesterday evening itself. So the actress will now be officially known by her Hindu name, Nayanthara.

Now why has Nayanthara converted into a Hindu? And if you ask Nayantara on this, the actress quickly said, “ Yes! I’m converted to Hindu now but on my passion and conviction”.
